QFC Grocery Basket 7/23

As long as my sister, Miss SmartyPants, has been keeping house she has had a towel thrown over her shoulder.  When she was here taking care of me after my hip surgery she always had a towel even if she was doing laundry.  Now it looks like her beautiful granddaughter, Miss RyaLaine, has the same affliction.  I've tried it but it always falls off my shoulder and the next thing you know I've got it wrapped around my feet.

Today is a special day because my granddaughter is getting married today.  It is to be an outside wedding.  I hope that the rain and thunder can hold off until the "I dos".  Wouldn't you know it!!  After months of beautiful weather it decides to do this today.  The Bradster will be here any minute to pick me up.  We are meeting my son and then heading out to the wedding.  I hope to have pictures to share.

I want to mention that QFC has lots of beautiful fresh and wild fish on sale this week.  You know, of course, that QFC has the best fish market this side of the Sound.  Also, QFC sour cream is on sale for $1 for 16 ounces so stock up.  To keep UNopened sour cream fresh forever store it upside down in your fridge.  I don't know why this works, but it does.  And several of the Greek yogurts are on sale for a buck a piece so check the shelves for your fave.

This pretty little red dog is Rosie, Poppy's best friend.  She belongs to my sister who has always had big dogs in the past.  I mentioned to my son after they had stayed at his house for a few days that Rosie was neurotic.  My son, being an animal lover said that she was just sensitive.
